Although low scoring, Crusaders defense was the key to the 87 -54 win
over norths last night.
Excellent defense by Mickey Tyrrell and Dan Pratt on the Norths go to
man ensured he was kept to 10 points and the zone d did not work for
them at the opposite end.
Moose and Eddie spent time on the floor but showed sweat, guts and
determination leading by example. Time for the younger brigade to step
up especially with offensive rebounds and free throw percentages.
Ryan scored 17 and Moose 16 including some stirling layups through the
d. Tim showed up at half time after winning his cricket grand final
and together with Gary, Cam and Jack they made sure Norths got no
offensive rebounds with 20 D rebounds between them. James hit a three
in the last three minutes to put the final nail in Norths coffin -
great win fellas .
Next week 5th April is road trip to Illawarra at 6 pm at Beaton Park.
