ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure signed a pair of junior college teammates to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday. Zarryon Fereti, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia.
Over Fereti's two seasons at Southern Idaho, he made 128 three-pointers and helped the Golden Eagles to a combined record of 57-13. His sophomore season, Fereti averaged 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Southern Idaho's third-leading scorer, he made 77 three-pointers in 32 games (2.4 per game) and shot 34 percent from long range as well as 81 percent (93-115) from the free throw line. Fereti scored 20 points or more six times with a season high of 33 points. As a freshman in 2004-05, Fereti averaged 9.6 points and shot 42 percent (51-120) from three-point range.
