Please see the below information based on Ex-Sydney 14 December and returning 23 December.

To get to Koh Chang, you need a 40min flight from Bangkok, then a 15 mins mini bus to the (ferry) pier, then a 40 min ferry crossing and approx 40mins mini bus to your accommodation.

AIRFARE
Sydney to Bangkok return $1152 plus taxes
Bangkok to Trat $195 [plus taxes

ACCOMMODATION
Qantas Holidays have 3 properties in Koh Chang that do a maximum of 3 people per room:
Chang Brui Resort & Spa $215 p.p for 5 nights including breakfast
Koh Chang Tropicana Resort & Spa $430 p.p for 5 nights including breakfast
Barali Beach Resort $446 p.p for 5 nights including breakfast

FERRY CROSSING
From Trat airport to the Pier in mini bus, plus the ferry crossing and transfer to your hotel depends on which hotel you say at - between $12 - $30.

As a package you are looking at $1152 (plus taxes), $195 (plus taxes), $430 (for the Koh Chang Tropicana Resort & Spa for 5 nights), plus transfers and ferry $17 = total $1794.00 plus taxes (approx $300). You would then have your own arrangements after the first 5 nights accommodation.

14 December is quickly approaching and you need to act as quickly as possible to get the cheapest prices. The earlier you can book the better. If the cheapest airfare sells out, you need to buy the second cheapest, then the third cheapest an so on... the longer you leave it the more expensive it becomes. You are planning to travel at a busy time of the year. Accommodation will also sell out at this time of year, especially if there is a group of you and you want to stay at the same accommodation

Whoah slow down with the interest guys.. its a little overwealming.

Looks like everyone has other plans this year. Flights are nearly sold out so it doesn't look like we're going this year.

Too bad :-(
